A long, sweeping right-hander on a sandy beach — our most-used spot for beginners.
Panoramas is where a lot of our guests catch their very first green wave. It is a long, gentle right-hander breaking onto a sandy beach just south of Taghazout — forgiving, scenic and endlessly fun.
Panoramas combines the best of two worlds: it has the long, organised walls of a point break, but it breaks over sand rather than reef. That sandy bottom makes it far more forgiving for surfers still finding their feet. The wave peels slowly and predictably, giving you plenty of time to pop up and ride.
It is the spot our coaches use most for beginners and early intermediates, and it works right through the main October-to-April season. Mid-to-high tide tends to be cleanest. Even confident surfers enjoy it on a small, clean day — there is something about a long, easy right-hander that never gets old.
“Do not rush back to the peak — Panoramas rewards a long, patient ride all the way to the inside.”
