A fun, quieter right-hander tucked between La Source and Anchor Point.
Mysteries sits quietly between two of Morocco's most famous waves — and that is exactly its charm. It is a fun right-hander the crowds often skip on their way to Anchor Point.
Breaking over a mix of sand and reef just south of La Source, Mysteries offers a rideable right-hand wall that works on the same NW swells as its more famous neighbours. It is less consistent than Anchor or Killer, but when it is on, it is a genuinely fun, uncrowded session.
Mysteries is best for intermediate surfers comfortable with a moving peak. It picks up around mid-to-high tide and shares the October-to-April season of the rest of the point. Because most visitors walk straight past it, it is one of our go-to spots when the famous breaks get busy.
“When Anchor Point is shoulder-to-shoulder, check Mysteries — often the same swell with a fraction of the crowd.”
