Section 02

Making a booking

Your booking becomes confirmed only after all four steps below are complete. Please check your confirmation immediately and tell us promptly if anything is incorrect.

1

You provide the required guest, package and date details.

2

You expressly accept the Booking Terms and Cancellation Policy.

3

We receive the 10% online deposit.

4

We send your written confirmation and booking summary.

The lead guest must be at least 18, have authority to book for everyone named in the booking and ensure that each guest understands the rules relevant to their stay. A guest under 18 must be booked by a parent or legal guardian. Bookings may not be transferred without our written approval.

Section 03

Prices & payment

The booking summary shows your total price, deposit, remaining balance, included taxes and any optional extras you selected.

10% online deposit

Paid securely through the online checkout. Your booking is not confirmed until the payment and confirmation email are complete.

90% cash balance

Due in EUR or MAD on arrival, before room check-in. If you pay in MAD, the amount is confirmed at check-in. We do not automatically charge the payment method used for your deposit.

Clear total

Your confirmation lists taxes, tourist charges, extras and anything that is not included. No mandatory fee should appear later without a legal reason or your agreement.

Receipt for every payment

We provide a deposit receipt and a dated invoice or receipt for the balance and any extras paid at the camp.

Section 04

What your price includes

Only the services listed in your booking confirmation are included. Depending on the package, this may include accommodation, specified meals, surf lessons or guiding, equipment, transfers and excursions.

  • The confirmation identifies the room type, number of nights and number of guests.
  • It lists the meals, lessons, equipment, trips and transfers that are included.
  • Lunch is not included unless the confirmation expressly says otherwise.
  • Personal spending, independent taxis and optional activities are not included.

The phrase "package" or "all-inclusive" does not mean every meal, activity, transfer or personal expense is included. The itemised booking summary controls.

Section 05

Guest cancellations

Send cancellation requests to contact@nomad.surf or the official WhatsApp number shown in your confirmation. A cancellation takes effect when the request is received, using Morocco local time.

50%

Our voluntary 24-hour booking grace period

If you book at least seven full days before arrival, you may cancel within 24 hours of completing the booking for a full refund of your deposit. This promise does not reduce any mandatory consumer rights.

Approved refunds go to the original payment method, normally within 7–14 business days. Bank or payment-provider processing may take additional time. No refund is normally due for a no-show, voluntary early departure, late arrival or a service the guest chooses not to use.

Section 06

Changing your dates

We will try to help when plans change. All date changes depend on availability, and new dates must fall within 12 months of the original arrival date.

Fewer than 7 daysTreated as a cancellation. The original deposit is forfeited and the new stay is booked at the current price.
Section 07

Changes or cancellation by Nomad

Surfing and outdoor activities depend on waves, tides, weather, safety conditions and participant ability. We may reasonably adjust times, locations, instructors, transport, excursions or the daily program.

Where possible, we provide a safe and reasonably equivalent alternative. If we cannot provide a material part of the confirmed booking, we will offer an appropriate solution such as:

  • a suitable equivalent service;
  • a change of date or agreed booking credit;
  • a proportionate refund for the unavailable service; or
  • cancellation and a full refund of amounts paid to us for the affected booking.

If we cancel the whole booking before arrival because we cannot provide it, we refund all amounts paid to us. Events outside reasonable control will be handled fairly and in accordance with rights that cannot legally be limited.

Section 08

Surfing, activities & safety

Surfing, swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Every guest must:

  • follow instructor and staff safety directions;
  • use supplied equipment correctly and report damage;
  • honestly disclose swimming ability, surf experience and relevant health information;
  • avoid activities while affected by alcohol, illegal drugs or unsafe medication; and
  • stop or change an activity when instructed.

The instructor makes the final safety call

We may move a guest to another ability group, change a location or prevent participation when reasonably necessary for safety. This discretion must be exercised professionally and does not remove our legal duties.

Section 09

Young guests & travel insurance

A parent or legal guardian must book for every guest under 18 and provide any required consent. Children may join only age-appropriate activities approved by the instructors, taking account of age, swimming ability, physical condition, conditions and available supervision.

Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance covering Morocco, surfing and all booked activities, emergency medical care and repatriation, trip cancellation or interruption, delays and personal belongings. If any package requires proof of insurance, that requirement and the consequence of not providing it will appear in the booking summary.

Section 10

Arrival, departure & transfers

Flexible check-in, any time

Arrive and check in at any time, day or night — there is no fixed check-in hour. Please give us advance notice and accurate travel details. A very late arrival still counts as the first booked night.

Room check-out by 11:00

Please vacate your room by 11:00 so we can turn it over for the next guests. You are welcome to stay at the camp and join that day's activities, and you may leave luggage in the surf house.

Any included airport transfer applies only to the airport, direction, date, passenger count and notice period shown in the confirmation. Guests must provide accurate flight details and promptly report delays or changes.

Guests joining a departure-day surf who choose to return to camp earlier than the group arrange and pay for that return taxi themselves. The estimated cost should be confirmed before departure.

Section 11

Camp rules & damage

Nomad is a small, shared surf camp with a relaxed community atmosphere. These objective rules help keep the house safe, comfortable and welcoming.

Quiet hours

Keep noise low from 23:00 to 08:00 so everyone can rest.

Respect

No harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, theft or repeated disruption.

Smoking

No smoking in rooms or bathrooms. Use only the designated outdoor area.

Visitors & pets

No outside visitors or pets without prior written approval.

Shared home

Keep common areas tidy and use water and electricity responsibly.

Surf gear

Rinse equipment and leave it in the designated drying or storage area.

Fair enforcement

For a minor issue, we normally explain the problem and allow the guest to correct it. Serious misconduct or an immediate safety risk may result in removal from an activity or the camp. Any termination and refund decision will be proportionate and subject to applicable consumer law.

Damage charges

A guest may be charged the reasonable, documented cost of repairing or replacing property deliberately or negligently damaged by that guest. Normal wear and tear is excluded. We provide notice and evidence and do not automatically charge a card without separate authorisation.

Section 12

Liability & personal belongings

Guests accept the ordinary inherent risks of surfing and outdoor activities and remain responsible for following instructions and taking reasonable care of personal belongings.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from our negligence, unsafe equipment, unsafe premises or breach of a legal duty.

We take reasonable care of guest property. Guests should secure valuables and use any storage provided. Any responsibility for loss, theft or damage will be assessed under applicable law and the facts of the incident.

Section 13

Problems, complaints & applicable law

If something is wrong during your stay, tell the camp manager as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to help. Formal complaints may be sent to contact@nomad.surf with the booking reference, a description and relevant evidence.

We aim to acknowledge a formal complaint within two working days and provide a substantive response within 14 days.

These terms are governed by Moroccan law to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protections. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory right or jurisdiction available to a consumer.

Section 14

Changes, document version & acceptance

The version accepted when the guest books governs that booking. We may update these terms for future bookings, but a later version will not reduce the rights attached to an existing confirmed booking unless required by law or expressly accepted.

When you book, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Booking Terms, Cancellation Policy and Camp Rules, version 1.0, and that you are authorised to accept them for everyone included in your booking. We save the accepted version with your confirmation and email you a copy.
