Note: Surf session times may vary depending on the wave and tide conditions. The instructors will confirm the best time each day. Also, the schedule may vary depending on your selected package.
Surfing
You'll surf six days a week with a mix of lessons and supervised free surf. Morning lessons run about two hours with your instructor. After the lunch break, you'll paddle out again for free surf (with instructors around to guide and keep an eye on you). Lunch is not included — only breakfast and dinner are provided at the camp.
Whether you're brand new to surfing or already confident on green waves, our coaches adapt to your level. You'll cover the basics like paddling, takeoff, and wave reading—or go deeper into maneuvers and style if you're more advanced. Groups are small so everyone gets the attention they need.
Excursions & Activities
When you're not surfing, you'll explore Morocco:
- Paradise Valley trip – swim in natural pools and enjoy the mountain landscapes.
- Sandboarding – ride the dunes at sunset near Aghroud.
- Yoga sessions – relax and stretch after surf.
- Taghazout Skatepark visit – enjoy skating and good vibes at the local skatepark.
- Market visits – discover local life, spices, food, and crafts.
- Moroccan Traditional Hammam – perfect for recovery after long surf sessions.

About the Trip
Insurance Policy
Personal travel/health insurance is not included in our package. We do have basic liability insurance that covers the surf lessons and equipment during the activities. We always recommend that guests have their own travel insurance for full peace of mind.

Ich war ein paar Tage im Nomad Surf Camp und es hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Das Team ist super nett und man fühlt sich schnell wohl. Die Surfkurse waren locker und macht Spaß, auch wenn ich nicht der beste Surfer bin. Das Essen war richtig lecker und das Camp ist gemütlich, nicht kompliziert. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, man redet mit allen und lernt schnell Leute kennen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke an die Nomad Crew für die schöne Zeit!

Séjour juste parfait au Nomad Surf Camp ! Imad est un hôte très attentionné qui fait en sorte que l’on se sente bien, il m’a fait me sentir chez moi dès le premier jour. Raid était un super prof de surf, je suis arrivée sans avoir jamais pratiqué et je repars avec d’excellentes bases ! La nourriture est excellente, que ce soit le petit déjeuner ou le dîner, c’est un régal à chaque fois ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

It was an amazing time here. The host was very kind and we could ask whenever we had a problem. We recommend the surfing class and had very much fun here! The best of all was the food you can eat in the hostel. We would stay here anytime again!
Had such an amazing time at Nomad Surf Camp in Tamraght... honestly didn’t know what to expect but everything turned out way better than I imagined.
Had an amazing short stay at the Nomad house and definitely will be back! The team was great and very hospitable. We enjoyed playing games with the residents and team as well as having breakfast and dinner together. They definitely made us feel like we were at home.

Ich hab einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Nomad Surfcamp gehabt. Wir waren 10 Tage hier und hatten sehr leckeres Essen, das Surfcamp war sehr schön und die Zimmer sehr angenehm:) Der Surf Unterricht war super und sehr hilfreich, generell sind hier alle sehr freundlich und herzlich🙃 Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal im Nomad Surfcamp:))
Ich war 10 Tage da. Die Stimmung ist super, Zimmer sauber, Mega nette Leute und sehr gutes Essen! Ich hatte super Surfstunden. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Nomad Surf Camp für die schöne Zeit.

The absolute best place to stay! Jalal and his crew are super helpfull and nice to be around. The camp is really lovely, beautiful decorated in Morrocan style. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Close to all the nice surfbreaks that you can see from the rooftop. Just a place i want to come back to again and again!
Amazing place! Delicious food and great surf. Highly recommend if you don’t want to stay in a dorm but do want to socialize and surf with people.
