Surfing
You’ll surf six days a week with a mix of lessons and supervised free surf. Morning lessons run about two hours with your instructor. After lunch, you’ll paddle out again for free surf (with instructors around to guide and keep an eye on you).
Whether you’re brand new to surfing or already confident on green waves, our coaches adapt to your level. You’ll cover the basics like paddling, takeoff, and wave reading—or go deeper into maneuvers and style if you’re more advanced. Groups are small so everyone gets the attention they need.
Excursions & Activities
When you’re not surfing, you’ll explore Morocco:
- Paradise Valley trip – swim in natural pools and enjoy the mountain landscapes.
- Sandboarding – ride the dunes at sunset near Aghroud.
- Yoga sessions – relax and stretch after surf.
- Taghazout Skatepark visit – enjoy skating and good vibes at the local skatepark.
- Market visits – discover local life, spices, food, and crafts.
- Massage & Hammam – perfect for recovery after long surf sessions.

About the Trip
Insurance Policy
Personal travel/health insurance is not included in our package. We do have basic liability insurance that covers the surf lessons and equipment during the activities. We always recommend that guests have their own travel insurance for full peace of mind.
J’ai passé une super semaine au Nomad Surf Camp avec mon mari. Franchement on a adoré. L’équipe est super gentille et on se sent vite à l’aise, un peu comme à la maison. Les cours de surf étaient top, même si on était débutants. Les moniteurs expliquent bien et ils ont beaucoup de patience. J’ai réussi à prendre quelques vagues et j’en revenais pas 😂 Mon mari aussi a trop aimé. La nourriture était vraiment bonne, on mange bien et on sent que tout est fait maison. L’ambiance le soir était trop cool aussi. Bref, super expérience, on a vraiment passé un bon moment. Je recommande à fond et j’espère qu’on pourra revenir un jour ! 🌊💙
Ein sehr gemütliches Surfhaus oben auf dem Hügel in Tamraght. Die Unterkunft läd direkt durch ihren marokkanisches Flair ein und ist auf drei Ebenen aufgeteilt. Dazu gehört ebenso eine tolle Dachterrasse mit Meer- und Sonnenuntergangsblick. Das Team bemüht sich jeden Tag sehr um alle Gäste und sorgt für köstliches Frühstück und Abendessen aus der marokkanischen Küche (lecker ;-)). Man hat das Gefühl, man gehört hier direkt dazu. Ich selbst zwar zwei Monate hier und habe meine Zeit sehr genossen. Grundsätzlich ist das Zusammenleben hier sehr ruhig und entspannt. Auf Fragen und Wünsche wird immer direkt eingegangen. Ich komme gerne wieder :-)
I stayed at Nomad Surf Camp in Tamraght with my girlfriend and had a really good time. The surf lessons were fun and easy to follow, the instructors are patient and don’t mind if you mess up a lot. The camp has a chilled vibe, sometimes a bit quiet but perfect for relaxing.
I spent 20 days at Nomad Surf Camp and it felt like home – they became my second family! 🌊 Delicious homemade Moroccan meals, great surf lessons full of fun, and a super warm atmosphere. Imad is always smiling and helpful, and Abderrahman great to talk with. Highly recommended – can’t wait to come back!
Nomad Surf Camp was amazing, amazing stay and amazing surf lessons!! The breakfast and dinner was so delicious and Jalal and everyone was so gracious, I need to come back ASAP.
C’était une merveilleuse expérience. Nous sommes arrivées en tant que débutantes de surf et après une journée de conseils et d’entraînement, nous avons énormément progressé. Sofiane ainsi que Jalal sont de très bons coachs. C’était une journée merveilleuse remplie de souvenirs. Nous avons aussi était très bien accueillies par Jalal et Kenza dans une chambre agréable et propre. C’était incroyable, merci encore !!

To be honest- those 4 days were magic. Nomad surf camp turns to your second Home within just a few minutes. Jalal, Mehdi and their Family Are authentically heartful, attentive and soooo guestfriendly. It feels Like staying in a Friends place. They offer great fresh food and wholesome services around for a really really fair price and do their best to make you feel comfortable.
We had a wonderful short stay in Nomad Surf Camp 🥰! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and Jalal’s family is absolutely adorable ❤️Everyone made us feel very welcome, and their passion really shows. We would definitely love to come back again, this time for some surf lessons!
